Deadline: NOVEMBER 11, 2016 (The appointments will become effective January 1, 2017.)

There are nine positions to serve in the following sectors: Public Health, Planning, Funding, Transportation, Food Retail, Food Service, Urban Agriculture, Community Representative, Emergency Food System, Food Manufacturer and Distributor, Economic Development, Health Care, Education, and Faith-Based Organization, for two-year terms expiring December 31, 2018 (except for the Education seat which expires on December 31, 2017).

Council members must be available to attend meetings on the second Monday of the odd months from 4-6PM at Food Gatherers, must attend 2 outreach events per calendar year, and participate in a committee and/or a Policy Action Team. The Food Policy Council was established in 2012 to develop a healthy community and thriving local food system.
