There is one position to be filled to serve in the following sectors: Faith-Based Organization, Funding, Labor, Transportation, Food Retail, Food Manufacturer and Distributor, and Education, for the remainder of a two-year term expiring December 31, 2018.
Council members must be available to attend meetings on a Monday of the odd months from 3-5PM, must attend 2 outreach events per calendar year, and participate in a committee and/or a Policy Action Team. The Food Policy Council was established in 2012 to develop a healthy community and thriving local food system.
