The Farmers & Institutional Purchasing Policy Action Team is made up of farmers and non-farmers alike. We are interested in Washtenaw food policy as it relates to farmers. We seek to create a voice for growers through influencing policy. Our goals include reducing financial barriers so that small farmers can interact with a variety of market outlets as well as creating educational opportunities for small farmer business development.
