Learn about the Bee City USA program on Wednesday, April 8th at 7PM at SPARK East, 215 W. Michigan Ave, Ypsilanti, MI.
The Bee City USA program endorses a set of standards, defined in a resolution, for creating sustainable habitats for pollinators. Cities, towns and communities across America are invited to adopt these standards and become a Bee City USA affiliate. Becoming a Bee City means making a public commitment to protecting pollinators and we need your help!
This meeting will introduce the Bee City USA effort and other community initiatives, such as the Washtenaw Food Policy Council’s Pollinator Policy Work group, Bee Safe Neighborhoods campaign, and National Pollinator Week in June 2015.
